The ScanEagle Surveillance Drone is a small, long-endurance, low-altitude unmanned aerial vehicle built by Insitu, which is a subsidiary of Boeing. Its main purpose is for reconnaissance missions through fish-spotting. The Jackal is a vehicle designed and developed by Supacat Ltd for use by the British Army and Royal Air Force Regiment. The Jackal is a multi-purpose, wheeled, all-terrain mobile weapons platform and reconnaissance car. About the Panzer III

Designed to be Germany’s tanks for fighting other tanks, the Panzer III saw it’s successful battlefield debut during the invasion of Poland. It proved to be a reliable and wining design and was continually upgraded and refined throughout the war. The Panzer III’s hull and chassis was also used to create the highly successful series of low-profile StuG III assault guns and tank destroyers.

The Panzer III is one of Brickmania’s most popular kits and we are constantly making upgrades and improvements. This edition incorporates a lot of upgrades over the previously more austere version. The Denison Smock is one of my favorite articles of clothing from WWII. I love how simple yet effective the camouflage pattern is. This is modeled after a 1st pattern smock, an earlier version, when the camouflage was actually painted by hand. This rudimentary process created the beautiful brushstrokes and blending you see in the pattern. Trying to capture that look was the hardest part of this design. Another element to note would be the face. We’ve used this face before on past minifigures, but this time I’ve added a camouflage pattern.

The OV-10G Bronco is an American turboprop light attack and observation aircraft. It was developed as a special aircraft for counter-insurgency combat with a primary mission of forward air control. About the NSW RHIB:

The first commercial Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat was introduced at the 1969 London boat show. Development began in 1964 by the Royal National Life Boat Institution and then patented by Admiral Desmond Hoare. By the mid to late 1970’s, the Canadian Coast Guard were using them and today are used throughout the world. RHIB’s are used by civilians, Law Enforcement, Coast Guards and military rescue operations. Anyone enlisted in the US navy may sign up to be part of a Special Boat Team and participate in VBSS (Visit Board Search Seizure).

The NSW (Naval Special Warfare) RHIB in particular is used by the US NAVY SEALS mainly as a quick means of insertion and extraction. About the Wheel Loader:

A front end loader (wheel loader) is a heavy equipment machine often used in construction as a way to move aside or load materials. Common materials moved are asphalt, demolition debris, dirt, snow, feed, raw minerals, recycled material, rock, sand, woodchips and more. About the RSOV – Ranger Special Operations Vehicle:

The Ranger Special Operations Vehicle (RSOV) is a 4×4 vehicle used by the 75th Ranger Regiment. Based upon the Land Rover Defender 110 series, the RSOV is used primarily as a light attack and reconnaissance platform. This vehicle was chosen over the DPV/LSV for its greater capacity of storage, and because it is easily transportable by helicopter. Multiple weapons can be fitted to the vehicle, including M2 .50 cal machine guns, M240 7.62mm belt-fed machine guns, and MK19/MK47 40mm grenade launchers.

The RSOV can carry spare fuel, communications equipment, sand channels, and shovels for extricating the vehicle when it gets stuck. Each Alpha Company within a Ranger Battalion are equipped with 12 RSOVs, each deployed into 4 platoons, and further split into 2-vehicle sections.
